About Select a Group

This option lists all groups that are available for a user. It is possible that no groups are available for a user in which case they'll get "no data found". Assuming that there are groups available, there will be a "select" link to the right of your screen. Clicking on select, chooses that group for reporting purposes. (*Note: After selecting a group, only that group is displayed and there is a "deselect" link to the right of the screen.)

Once a group is selected, it is used for the duration of the users session, or until they "deselect" the group.

Once you select a group, any report that supports group reporting will use the selected group.
